Nova Scotia began indexing its tax brackets in 2025 and moved to a single flat basic personal amount for all filers, replacing the old income-tested version. Sales tax in the province is charged as HST, separate from income tax.

This tool combines federal and Nova Scotia income tax and applies the basic personal amount. For standard T4 employment, it also estimates the employee share of CPP/CPP2 and EI. Other income, deductions and personal credits aren't included.
