How income tax works here
Manitoba froze its tax brackets and basic personal amount for both 2025 and 2026, so the provincial thresholds are the same in both years. Manitoba also charges a retail sales tax separately from GST.
This tool combines federal and Manitoba income tax and applies the basic personal amount. For standard T4 employment, it also estimates the employee share of CPP/CPP2 and EI. Other income, deductions and personal credits aren't included.
